DayZ Sakhal map - interactive Frostline map

This interactive DayZ map shows Sakhal, the official Frostline winter terrain with frozen coastlines, islands, settlements, forests, military areas and harsh survival routes. You can zoom, pan and use it to plan travel, bases, loot runs and server events.

Sakhal uses a 16,384 x 16,384 meter world, which is about 268 square kilometers. The frozen island layout, cold-weather survival and separated coastal routes make it feel very different from ChernarusPlus and Livonia.

Sakhal is popular because it adds a colder and more punishing DayZ experience. Temperature, frozen water, island movement, limited safe routes and winter survival pressure make planning more important than on warmer maps.

Important Sakhal locations include coastal settlements, inland villages, military zones, industrial areas, island crossings, hunting routes and frozen shoreline travel paths. These areas are useful for loot planning, navigation, fishing, warmth management and finding player traffic.

Yes. Use the Sakhal map to plan your movement, then browse DayZ servers running Sakhal or Frostline on the launcher site. Sakhal servers can be vanilla, hardcore survival, PvP, PvE, roleplay, modded or winter-event communities.

The coordinate panel follows your cursor over the Sakhal map and lets you copy the current position. This helps when sharing meeting points, base locations, fishing spots, event areas or admin reports with other DayZ players.
